DO WE KNOW ENOUGH TO CHANGE THE FACE OF PARKINSON´S?
"The only true journey of discovery is not to seek
new landscapes, but to look with new eyes."
Marcel Proust
Ketogenic diet (VanItallie 2005), intense physical exercise by bicycle -in tandem with a healthy person- (Alberts 2011) and vitamin B2 (Coimbra 2003) are able to improve symptoms by 40 to 77 %. Do we still expect a study with all three together, 9 years after the last one?
Would something similar happen to the study of Powers in 1988, which found 87 % prevention of Parkinson's risk with the combination of tobacco, coffee and NAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)? I'll put it into words to make sure there's no mistake: eighty-seven percent! (Powers 2008).
